Design and installation of a new DNO (distribution network operator) High Voltage Substation incorporating a new HV meter via EDF. A secondary HV substation was installed allowing the client control of the new LV panel and switchgear for the EV Charging Network throughout the Car Park. 84 external single rapid chargers were installed throughout the car park.
Works included scraping off the existing land with vegetation removal and reduced dig, ground remediation, brought up to formation in Type 1 MOT, excavated for drainage and ducts before back filled, EV concrete trough dug and laid in line with Engineers and architects design, built up tarmac to finish levels and white lined.
This project was successfully managed by KDM in its entirety including construction of the new carpark & both HV substations, underground ducts and installing the HV & LV cabling.
The HV Metering was energised using the End Users Details ensuring Change of Tenancy was complete before project completion / handover therefore improving efficiency and cutting costs.
Companies where vehicle fleets are part of the business there are opportunities to save on fuel and maintenance costs.
