Hampden Stadium – Directors Box Extension

The project was to extend the Directors Box allowing for more seating and adding additional doors for easier access to the seating area in the stand.

• Liaise with the Scottish FA for the Strip out of existing seating and railings.
• Build a new steel frame structure adding stairs & balustrades to either side of the stairs with handrails.
• Add cladding to the new steel frame.
• Lay new carpet.
• Liaise with the Scottish FA for the new VIP seating and disabled companion seats being fitted.
• Remove windows and add 2 sets of double-leaf door openings to the existing lounge.

KDM liaised with the Scottish FA to produce the proposed new extension to the Scottish FA’s design including issuing proposals for revised cladding options and then incorporating these design changes to provide a timely installation on site.

The liaison with the Scottish FA and our approved supply chain to provide sequencing for the design, manufacture and installation was key to delivering a high-quality product that was fit for purpose.

A prestigious outside seating area with additional VIP seats has been beautifully decorated with the home team’s colours. The VIP seats have all been strategically positioned in height, ensuring you never miss any action. With the additional double leaf-door openings from the lounge, you can still soak in the tartan army atmosphere and energy that they're renowned for.
