To fit out a traditional single-storey stone building which was previously used as a solicitor's office into a banking hub on the High street of Carnoustie, Scotland.
Works undertaken were:
KDM was awarded the project after winning a competitive tender, based not only on price but also the capability to manage all elements of the fit-out.
Once the programme was signed off by the end client, each element was executed within the agreed timelines. The procurement of long lead time items including the specialist glazing for the private office was addressed in advance of receipt of the purchase order, ensuring hand over date could be achieved.
Continual liaison with the end client, including daily progress images supplied within our client portal allowed them to minimise their time on site whilst being able to monitor progress in a live environment.
A modernised local banking hub, where the community can fulfil their usual transactions facilitated by Cash Access & Post Office Services. It also gives customers the ability to arrange appointments with their preferred Bank or Building Society in a glazed private meeting room created as part of the transformation.
Following the completion of KDM’s scope we spent a further 2 weeks on-site overseeing & facilitating Post Office works as part of our agreement, enabling the branch to be successfully launched in less than 5 weeks from the start on site.
