The other week, we successfully completed a live-fire resistance audit test conducted by BM TRADA on one of our FD60-manufactured doors, which delivered an outstanding result.
The door remained intact throughout the test, and BM TRADA officially stopped the assessment at 67 minutes due to no signs of failure. This exceeded the required FD60 performance standard and demonstrated the reliability and consistency of our manufacturing processes.
What Is an FD60 Fire Door?
An FD60 fire door is specifically designed to resist fire and smoke for a minimum of 60 minutes. These doors play a critical role in compartmentation within buildings, helping to slow the spread of fire and protect escape routes during an emergency.
