Recently, our team had the fantastic opportunity to spend the day at Hampden Park alongside some of our valued clients, and it was an experience to remember.
We kicked things off with a relaxed lunch, giving everyone a chance to connect before the day’s main event. The highlight followed an engaging Q&A session led by Adam Binnie, during which we were joined by two true Scottish football legends—Willie Miller and Leanne Ross.
Willie Miller shared stories from an incredible international career that saw him earn 65 caps for Scotland between 1975 and 1989, including his 50th cap at the 1986 FIFA World Cup against West Germany. He also reflected on his remarkable club career with Aberdeen, where he made a record 560 league appearances.
Leanne Ross offered equally inspiring insights. A former Scotland international and now head coach of Glasgow City, Leanne spoke about her journey from making her debut in 2006 to becoming a national team regular and earning 50 caps. Her versatility on the pitch and continued impact as a coach made her story especially powerful.
After the Q&A, we were treated to a behind-the-scenes tour of Hampden. Walking through the stadium was a real highlight, especially seeing the dressing rooms decorated with famous shirts that tell different stories of Hampden’s footballing history.
One of the standout moments of the day was walking out onto the pitch just as the players would before a game—a special experience that really brought the scale and atmosphere of Hampden to life. We also had the chance to use the warm-up pitch, where a fun challenge awaited: testing the power of our shots on goal, with a few competitive efforts on display!
All in all, it was a brilliant day of inspiration, connection, and football. One we won’t forget anytime soon.
